Crankshaft oil seal, pulley side: replacement > < Poly-V belt or trapezoidal belt path

1 - Intermediate shaft seal
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
2 - Pin
q   Check if it is seated properly
3 - 25 Nm
4 - Crankshaft oil seal
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
5 - Gasket
q   Replacement
6 - Cylinder block
q   Crankshaft → Chapter
q   Piston and piston rod → Chapter
7 - 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
q   Replacement
8 - Plate
q   Note the fitting position
9 - Clutch press
q   Removing and fitting → Fig.
10 - Engine flywheel
q   To remove and fit, immobilise using the -T20075A- tool
11 - Intermediate plate
q   Should slot into the adjustment sleeves
q   Do not damage/bend when assembling
12 - Crank shaft oil seal with seal
q   Only renew complete
q   To remove, extract the clutch press → Fig.
q   Lubricate carefully the lip of the seal
13 - 10 Nm
14 - Crankshaft bearing seal
q   Replace → Chapter
15 - Intermediate shaft
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
16 - O-ring
q   Replace if damaged
17 - Oil seal for the intermediate shaft

   
To separate and fit the clutch press
Removing
–  Secure the clutch press using the -U-40009- tool.
–  Remove the bolts attaching the clutch press to the crankshaft.
Fitting
–  Attach the clutch press to the crankshaft. Tightening torque: 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
