l  Engine must be cold
–  Loosen the screw joint of the double clamp between the catalytic converter and the intermediate silencer and replace the nuts.
   
–  Place the double clamp at a distance -a- = 5 mm from the mark on the catalytic converter pipe (lower bolts in horizontal position) and tighten slightly the front screw joint.

–  Insert the intermediate silencer -1- until the distance -b- 3 … 7 mm is reached between the suspension/bodywork and suspension/intermediatary silencer. (The -arrow- indicates the working direction)
–  In this position, tighten the screw joints of the double clamp. Tightening torque: 40 Nm
–  After tightening the double clamp, check the dimension -b- and ensure it is correct.
–  Adjust the horizontal position of the post silencer.
