Fitting

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When doing this note the following:

–	Clean the sealing surface for the O-ring.

–	Moisten new O ring -3- with coolant and fit it to the connector.

–	Fit the coolant thermostat -4- onto the connector -2- and turn 1/4 of a turn (90 °) to the right.

Note!

The brace on the thermostat must be almost vertical.

–	Loosen connecting flange -2- with thermostat- 4- in the engine block.

–	Tighten securing bolts -1-. Tightening torques: 15 Nm

–	Fill with coolant → Chapter
