–  Fit the engine cross member -U-30025E- as shown in the figure.
–  Fit support in the lifting eye on the cylinder head and slightly tighten the engine.
  Note!
t  When dismounting the support element from the assembly, the engine should be supported by the support cross member -U-30025E-.
t  The engine support should not be removed until the assembly support element has been removed.
t  To loosen the engine bracket bolts it is necessary to lift the engine slightly with the support device.
  E15-0170

  E13-0180
–  Thread adjusting tool -U-20010- as shown.
–  Calibrate the adjusting tool to 39 mm. The right groove of the vernier -arrow A- is the reference point.
–  Turn the crankshaft until the TDS mark on the flywheel coincides with the point on the adjusting tool -arrow B-.

–  Immobilize camshaft with adjusting ruler -T20038-, as indicated in the figure.
–  Centre the adjusting ruler as described as follows: Once camshaft is immobilized, turn it until one end of the ruler is supported on the cylinder head. Measure the play that results on the other extreme of the ruler with a feeler gauge. Insert a feeler gauge half the previous size between the adjusting ruler and the cylinder head. Next, turn camshaft so that the ruler rests on the feeler gauge. Insert a second feeler gauge of the same size in the other extreme, between the ruler and the cylinder head.
  E13-0023
