| Memorise the position of the tensioning roller indicator arm -arrow- (use a mirror to see the marks.) Press down hard on the toothed belt with your thumb. The indicator arm should move. |

| Release the pressure on the toothed belt. |

| Turn the crankshaft over twice in the direction of engine rotation. |
–
| Check the position of the indicator arm. The indicator arm should be back at its original position. |
If the indicator arm does not return to its original position: |

| Replace the tensioning roller. |
If both tensioning rollers are OK: |

| Install the toothed belt shield. |
–
| Reinstall the crankshaft pulley, taking the following into account: |

| Replace the pulley/crankshaft pinion mounting bolt. |
t
| When installing the pulley, check the mounting to the pinion. |
t
| Tighten the new and oiled mounting bolt to 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°). |
Note! When installing the Poly-V belt, make sure it is correctly seated on the pulleys. |

| Install the soundproofing sump. |
