Removing and installing front exhaust pipe
Removing and installing front exhaust pipe

t  Fitting → Anchor
   
Removing
–  Loosen quick-type locks -2 and 3- and remove rear noise insulation.
  A10-1320
–  Remove nuts -arrows-.
  A26-10672
–  Unscrew the bolt -2- and remove the bracket.
  Note
Disregard item -1-.
  A26-10120
–  Loosen bolts -arrows-, push back clamp and detach front exhaust pipe.
  Caution
Damage danger of decoupling parts on the exhaust input pipe.
Do not bend the flexible joint in the front exhaust pipe more than 10°.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Exhaust system in vehicles with automatic gearbox: Assembly overview“
  Note
Renew seals, gaskets and self-locking nuts.
–  Align exhaust system free of stress → Chapter.
