Engine oil specification
–  Engine without particle filter: Only use engine oil conforming to VW 505 01 standard.
–  Engine with particle filter: Only use oil conforming to the VW 507 00 standard.

With 4.3 litre oil filter
Without oil filter 3.8 litre

1 - max. marking
2 - min. marking
a - Zone between upper ridge of printed area and max. mark: do not add oil
b - Oil level in the area with grid: oil can be refilled
c - Area between the Min marking and the lower edge of the area with grid: Refill with max. 0.5 l.
