Removing and installing coolant temperature sender at radiator outletG83
Removing and installing coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet -G83-
   
Removing
l  Engine cold
–  Briefly open filler cap for coolant expansion tank in order to reduce pressure in cooling system.
–  Remove engine cover → Chapter.

–  Unscrew bolts and nuts -arrows-.
–  Move fuel filter clear to one side (fuel hoses remain connected).

–  Pull connector -2- on the coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet off -G83- .
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping coolant.
–  Pull off retaining clip -1- and pull coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet -G83- out of screw connection of coolant pipe.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  Renew O-ring.
t  Insert new radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83- immediately into coolant pipe to avoid loss of coolant.
–  Check coolant level and top up if necessary → Chapter.
