t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-

t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6362-
Removing
–  Remove engine cover → Chapter.
  W00-10427
–  Unscrew bolts and nuts -arrows-.
–  Move fuel filter clear to one side (fuel hoses remain connected).
–  Remove noise insulation → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
–  Remove front right wheel housing liner → Rep. gr.66.

–  Place drip tray for workshop crane -VAS 6208- beneath engine.
–  Pull connector -3- on the coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet off -G83- .
–  Clamp off coolant hoses with hose clamps -3094-.
  A19-10640
–  Release hose clips -arrows- and pull coolant hoses off right coolant pipe.
–  Unscrew nut -1- and bolt -2-, and remove right coolant pipe.
Installing
l  Specified torques → Chapter.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Fill coolant system with coolant → Chapter.
