Removing
   
–  Press the tabs -arrows- and remove the cover -1- of the intake filler neck.

–  Hang out the air ducts; disengage the retaining clips -arrows- for this purpose.

–  Pull off spring clip -1- together with intake hose from turbocharger.
–  Pull off vacuum hose -2- at air cleaner housing.
–  Unscrew the fixing bolts -3- and remove the air filter housing upwards from the bearing bolts.
Installing
  Note
t  Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be free from oil and grease before fitting. Do not use any lubricants containing silicone when assembling.
t  Secure all hose connections with standard clamps → Parts catalogue
t  Check for salt residue, dirt and leaves in air intake hose (engine intake side).
t  Check for dirt in air intake hose from air duct.
Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
