High-pressure pump with fuel pressure regulating valve -N276- - Assembly overview
  WARNING
The injection system is sub-divided into a high pressure system (max. approx. 120 bar) and a low pressure system (approx. 6 bar).
Before opening the high-pressure system, e.g. to remove the high-pressure pump, the fuel rail, the injectors, the fuel hoses or the fuel pressure sender -G247-, the fuel pressure in the high-pressure system must be reduced to approx. 6 bar. The procedure is described in the chapter "Reduction of high pressure system pressure" → Chapter.
