Removing
   
–  Release quick-fasteners -1- and -2- and take off front noise insulation.
–  Place the lock carrier plate into service position → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50
–  Remove the Poly V-belt → Chapter.

–  Remove crankshaft pulley.
  Note
To loosen and tighten the crankshaft pulley, lock with ring spanner on centre bolt.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  A13-0356
–  Only mount crankshaft pulley with genuine bolts → Parts catalogue.
t  Fitting can only be completed in one position only: the borehole -arrow- of the pulley / crankshaft must protrude beyond the raised section of the sprocket.
–  Assemble the lock carrier with attachments → Bodywork - Exterior assembly work ; Rep. gr.50.
  A13-0134
–  The torque reaction support must set itself on its rubber stop by means of its self weight, then tighten the nuts -arrows-.
Tightening torque → Chapter „Assembly mountings - exploded view“
–  Fit the front bumper trim → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.63.
–  Check headlight adjustment → Booklet301.

Pulley to crankshaft10 + 90° → Remark2)

1)  Renew bolts
2)  90º is equivalent to a quarter turn
