Secondary air pump motorV101: removing and fitting

Secondary air pump motor -V101-: removing and fitting

t	Removing → Anchor.

t	Installing → Anchor.

Removing

–	Remove the air filter housing → Chapter.

–	Unscrew both bolts on the top side of the secondary air pump that can be accessed.

–	Release quick-fasteners -1- and -2- and take off front noise insulation.

–	Pull out the plug -3-.

–	Detach air hoses -1- and -2-.

–	Unscrew both bolts on the bottom side of the secondary air pump so that it can be accessed..

–	Detach secondary air pump motor -V101- with bracket.

–	When necessary, remove the secondary air pump motor -V101- from the mount.

Installing

Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Secure all screw joints with serial hose clips → Spare parts catalogue.
