Removing and installing air filter housing
Removing and installing air filter housing
t  Removing → Anchor.

Removing
   
–  Loosen the two bolts -arrows- on the lock carrier and remove the air duct -2-.
–  Separate the solenoid valve 1 for the active carbon vessel -N80--1- and remove from the air duct on the air filter housing.

–  Unplug electrical connector -3- on active carbon filter system solenoid valve 1 -N80-.
–  Disconnect the electric plug connection -5- on the air mass meter -G70-, unclip the lines of the air filter housing and lay to one side.
–  Detach hoses -1-, -4-, -6- and -7-.
–  Loosen expansion clip -2- and separate air cleaner housing.
–  Pull upward to loosen lower mounts and to remove air cleaner housing.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
