1 - O ring
q   Replace
q   Lubricate before installing
2 - Dipstick guide tube
3 - Bolt.
q   9 Nm
4 - Bolt.
q   9 Nm
5 - Camshaft control valve 1 -N205-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
6 - Seal
q   Lubricate before installing
q   If this is damaged, replace it
7 - Bolt.
q   Tightening sequence → Fig.
8 - Timing chain cover (top)
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
9 - Seal
q   If this is damaged, replace it
10 - O ring
q   Replace
q   Lubricate before installing
11 - Dowel pins
q   For centring cover
12 - Timing chain cover (bottom)
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
13 - Bolt.
q   Replace
q   Tightening sequence → Fig.
14 - Oil seal
q   For vibration damper
q   Replace → Chapter
15 - Sealing plug
q   Replace

   
Timing chain cover (top) - tightening sequence
–  Tighten bolts -1 to 5- in the sequence shown:
1.  When tightening bolts, apply 9 Nm torque
  A15-10430
Bottom cover of the distribution chain, tightening sequence
–  Tighten bolts -1 to 15- in 2 stages as shown in the sequence:
–  1. When tightening bolts, apply 8 Nm torque
–  2. Turn bolts 45° further.
