  Note
t  In the vehicles with four wheel drive, the shape of the fuel tank makes it necessary to pump the fuel of the zone of the fuel level sender 2 -G169- with a suction pump to the fuel supply unit.
t  Only perform the test if the engine stops due to lack of fuel even if the fuel level gauge indicates a tank still at 1/4 of its capacity.
removing
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
   
–  Remove the return of the hose nozzle-arrow- from the fuel supply unit.
–  Detach the rapid coupling of the suction pump supply tube from the Y-shaped part of the fuel supply unit.
–  Remove the fuel level sender 2 -G169- → Chapter.
–  Remove the suction pump on the side of fuel level sender 2 -G169- (vehicle left side).
–  Check that the fuel hoses are correctly fixed to the suction pump and in good condition.
–  Also check the suction pump for dirt.
Fitting
Install in reverse order:
