6 - Pressure rings
  Note
  A24-0533
If the injector unit is fitted, the radial offset -1-is covered by the pressure ring -6-. To remove the injector unit, the support seal should be removed in order to insert the extractor-T10133/2A- in the injector connecting element -3-.
removing
–  Remove extraction hose → Chapter.
–  Use a clean cloth cover any of the open canals.
–  Remove the injector connector from the injector to be removed.
  A24-0533
–  Bend the locking tabs of the radial compensator sideways using a screwdriver, and disconnect the injector pressure ring.
  A24-0587
–  Fit extractor-T10133/2A- in the injector channel.
–  Next fit the extraction tool -T10133/16- and remove the injector by turning the bolt -1-.
  Note
The sealing ring for the combustion chamber should always be replaced before refitting the high pressure injector. → Chapter
Fitting
  Note
t  Do not applt grease or oil to the Teflon seal of the injector.
t  An open intake valve may block the cleaning operation. In this case, turn the the engine by hand using a wrench on the crankshaft.
t  When mounting the injector, there must be no oil or cleaning products in the cylinder head openings.
  A24-10579
–  Clean the holes for the high-pressure injectors in the cylinder head thoroughly, using a nylon brush -T10133/4-.
–  Replace theO-ring and Teflon seal in the injector → Chapter.
  A24-0589
–  Insert the injector with the assembly mandrel -T10133/9- into position in the hole in the cylinder head.
–  Installation is done in the reverse order.
Important note: The following points should be taken into account:
l  Do not applt grease or oil to the Teflon seal of the injector.
l  When mounting the injector, there must be no oil or cleaning products in the cylinder head openings.
l  Coat the high pressure injector O-rings with clean engine oil; this makes it easier to insert them onto the fuel rail.
l  Replace all the gaskets.
l  The fuel rail should be inserted in position on the injectors and should fit in uniformly.
l  Fit the intake manifold along with the fuel rail → Chapter
