Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Wrench kit -3337-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove the right hand side cover of the vehicle floor.

–  Unplug the electrical connector -arrow- from the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130- and heating for lambda probe 1 after the catalytic converter -Z29-.
  A26-10132
–  Unscrew the lambda probe -G130--1- using the tool from the tool set -3337-.
Installing
When fitting, note the following:

t  The screw thread on the new lambda probe is coated with a special paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  When fitting a used lambda probe, only cover the thread of the probe with hot working bolts paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body. Locking fluid for hot working bolts → Parts catalogue
t  The lambda probe must absolutely be fitted to the same location in order to avoid rubbing between the probe cable and the exhaust tube.
t  Tightening torque: 52 Nm
