Engine and DSG gearbox: Separate Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter. Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  counterhold -T20186-, see equivalent → Anchor

t  Workshop crane -VAS 6100-, see equivalent → Anchor Operation process

–  Uncouple the coolant flexible hoses -arrows- of the gearbox oil radiator.

–  Remove bolts -1- and -2-. –  Remove the gearbox ignition.   Note This is shown in the figure with the gearbox removed.

–  Unscrew the bolts -1- and -3 … 10- of the gearbox / engine fastener.

–  Place the support tool -T20186- on the gearbox, as shown in the illustration. –  Hang the workshop crane -VAS 6100- using the support tool -T20186-.   WARNING When transporting, take care not to damage the transmission oil radiator. –  Separate gearbox from engine.
