1 - Seal
q   Replace

q   Lubricate studs of exhaust manifold with high-temperature lubricant → Parts catalogue
3 - Bolt.
q   20 Nm and then turn 45° further
4 - Seal
q   Replace
5 - Coolant return hose/pipe
6 - Bolt.
q   9 Nm
7 - Turbocharger
q   Can only be replaced completely along with the exhaust manifold and the pressure capsule
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
8 - Spring retainer
9 - Bolt.
q   30 Nm
q   Lubricate with high-temperature lubricant → Parts catalogue
10 - Bolt.
q   30 Nm
q   Lubricate with high-temperature lubricant → Parts catalogue
11 - Nut
q   Do not open when removing turbocharger
q   Replace
q   30 Nm
q   Lubricate studs of exhaust manifold with high-temperature lubricant → Parts catalogue
12 - Moulding attachment

   
Turbocharger - tightening sequence
–  Tighten the bolts -1 to 5- in 4 stages, as indicated in the following:
–  1. When tightening bolts, apply 5 Nm torque
–  2. When tightening bolts, apply 12 Nm torque
–  3. When tightening bolts, apply 16 Nm torque
–  4. When tightening bolts, apply 25 Nm torque
