Note The fuel deliver rate will initially be checked in the engine compartment using the guided function „Checking fuel delivery rate, quick test“. If the minimum delivery rate is not achieved, a second measurement must be carried out on the flange of the fuel supply unit. |
Check the fuel delivery rate in the engine compartment: |

| Connect the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5052 B- to the vehicle. |

| On -VAS 5052 B-, select the Guided fault finding. |

| The vehicle identification is carried out. |

| Select Checking fuel delivery rate, quick test. |
–
| Follow the instructions of the Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5052 B-. |
Check the fuel delivery rate at the flange: |

| Connect the remote control -V.A.G 1348/3A- and the measurement adapter / DSO (5 pin) -VAS 5565- are connected to the fuel supply unit. |

WARNING Fuel supply line is pressurised. Wear safety goggles and appropriate clothing to avoid injury and contact with skin. Before loosening hose connections, wrap a cloth around the connection. Then eliminate the pressure by carefully separating the pipe. |
