  WARNING
Fuel system is under pressure! The pressure in the high-pressure components of the injection system must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening.
High pressure system pressure reduction → Chapter.
   
1 - Thrust piece
q   In certain circumstances, this may be left in the cylinder head after dismounting the high pressure pump, but may also be removed.
2 - O ring
q   Replace
3 - Single piston high pressure pump
q   In the fuel tank there is an electric fuel pump which sends fuel with a pressure of around 7 bar to the high pressure pump.
q   When fitting the high pressure pump, take care that no dirt enters the fuel system.
q   The fuel system must not be under any pressure; eliminate all pressure → Chapter
q   The fuel pipes must not be under tension when fitting them
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Fuel pressure regulating valve -N276-
5 - Cylinder head gap for high-pressure pump
6 - Injectors
q   Renew O-rings.
q   Ensure correct installation position
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
7 - Hall sender -G40-
8 - Camshaft control valve 1 -N205-
9 - Bolts for high-pressure pump
q   Replace
q   10 Nm
10 - Connection hose for the fuel supply pipe, from the tank
11 - Connection hose for the fuel supply pipe to the fuel rail (common rail)
q   Replace
q   Joint mouth: 22 Nm
q   Tightening torque for union nut for fuel supply pipe: 18 Nm
q   Fuel supply pipe must be free of tension when installed (make sure all parts are clean)
