Assembly overview - air filter > < Engine cover: Removing and installing (engine codes BZB - CDAA - CCZB)
Cover with oil separator: Removing and installing (engine code BYT)

Oil separator is fitted in cover only on engine with code letters BYT.
Vehicles with engine codes BZB - CDAA - CCZB → Fig.
Removing → Anchor.
Installing → Anchor.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Extractor -T40039-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Carefully remove engine cover → Chapter.
  W00-1303
–  Carefully extract the hose -1-.
–  Extract the vacuum hoses -2-, -3-, -4- and -5-.
–  Release the electrical connections -arrows- and disconnect all of the ignition coils at the same time.

–  Extract all the ignition coils from their housings using the extractor -T40039-.

–  Unscrew the oil filler cap -arrow-.
–  Unscrew the bolts -1 to 6- and remove the oil settling tank from the cylinder head cover.

–  Lift the cover towards the right and extract the vacuum pipe from both tabs -arrows-.
Installing
  A24-10439
–  Note the O-ring -arrow-; if it is damaged replace it.
  A24-10440
–  Tighten the screws to 11 Nm in the following sequence -1 ... 6-.
–  Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
