Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Box wrench set for lambda probe -3337-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove right hand side vehicle floor cover arrows.
  W00-0206
–  Unplug electrical connector -arrow- for Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Lambda probe 1 heater after catalytic converter -Z29-.
  A26-10132
–  Unscrew the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130--1- with a tool from the set of ring spanners for lambda probes -3337-.
Installing
When installing, note the following:
  Note
t  The screw thread on the new lambda probe is coated with a special paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  In the case of a used Lambda probe grease only the thread with high-temperature paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body. High-temperature paste → Parts catalogue
t  When assembling, the lambda probe cable must be fixed in its original position to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.
l  Tightening torque: 52 Nm.
