Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  AF-4mm wrench -T10370-, see equivalent → Anchor
removing
The engine speed sender is assembled under the intake manifold of the seal flange of the crankshaft on the flywheel side.
–  Separate the connector -arrow- of the engine speed sender -G28-.

–  Unscrew the securing bolt of the engine speed sender -G28- with the 4 mm hexagon key extension -T10370-.
–  Pull out engine speed sender -G28-.
installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Fit the engine speed sender -G28- and tighten the attachment bolt to 5 Nm.
