Coolant fan -V7- and Coolant fan -2 -V177-: removing and fitting t  Removing → Anchor t  Installing → Anchor t  Tightening torques → Anchor Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter. Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Torque wrench -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor. Removing –  Place the lock carrier plate into service position → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50

–  Pull off intake hose -1-. –  Unscrew securing bolts -arrows- and remove intake cowl.

–  Disconnect connector -1-.

–  Press the upper locking elements -1- on both sides to remove the air duct from the radiator. Take the duct out upwards -arrow-. –  Remove air vent downwards.

–  Disconnect the electrical connection -1-, and set the cables aside. –  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and remove fan. Installing Install in the reverse order to removal. –  Fit the lock carrier assembly: → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50 . Tightening torques
