| Tense the toothed belt, to do this rotate the tension roller in the -direction of the arrow- using the rotation tool -U-30009A-. |
| Taking the toothed belt between the thumb and the index finger by the point between the pinions of the camshaft and the intermediate axle, it should be possible to rotate it just 90º. |

| Tighten the tension pulley attachment. |

| Rotate the crankshaft twice in the DOR of the engine until the TDC of cylinder 1 is reached and then verify the adjustment. |

| Remove the vibration damper/pulley. |

| Fit the lower protection cover of the notched belt. |

| Fit the coolant pump pulley, the pulley for the damper and the upper part of the toothed belt protection. |

| Fit the tensioning pulley for the Poly-V belt. |
Note On fitting the Poly-V belt, make sure that it is correctly located on the pulleys. |

| Check the ignition timing and if necessary, adjust it: → Rep. Gr.28. |
Note When camshaft is turned, ensure crankshaft is not at TDC. The valves or cylinder heads may be damaged. |
