Removing and installing coolant circulation pump -V50-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Refractometer -T10007-
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340-
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-

   
t  Hose clamps, up to 40 mm -3093-
Removal:
–  Remove engine splash guard at bottom.
–  Seal coolant hoses with hose clamps up to 40 mm -3093-.

–  Release spring-type clips -arrows- and pull off coolant hoses.
–  Pull connector -1- off and remove securing bolt -2-.
–  Remove continued coolant circulation pump -V50-.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
Tightening torque of fastening bolts: 10 Nm
–  Check coolant level and top up if necessary → Chapter.
