  Note
t  For the sake of clarity, the work is performed with the engine removed.
t  The sequence of operations is identical with the engine mounted and the gearbox removed.
Operation process
–  Remove flywheel or drive plate → Item.
–  Put the engine in TDC cylinder 1 → Chapter
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove engine speed sender -G28--arrow-.
–  Unscrew sealing flange securing bolts.
  Note
Sealing flange and sender wheel are pressed off the crankshaft together using three M6×35 mm bolts.
  N13-10083
–  Screw three M6×35 mm bolts into threaded holes -arrows- of sealing flange.
–  Screw in the bolts alternatively by max. 1/2 turn (180°) per bolt, on the sealing flange and remove it from the crankshaft together with the sender crown.
