Removing and installing inlet valve
Removing and installing inlet valve
Removal:
Carry out the following work:
   
–  Release latch -1- and remove protective cover -2-.
–  Emptying the Autogas tank → Chapter
  WARNING
There is a danger of injury due to escaping gas.
The system is under pressure.
Wear suitable protective measures, such as protective gloves and protective goggles.
Before opening the system place a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully loosening the connection.

–  Detach gas line at inlet valve.
–  Unscrew and remove inlet valve -1-.
Installation
–  Apply a coating of sealing paste -JNV 133 155- to thread of new inlet valve.
–  Tighten inlet valve to 90 Nm.
Top arrow must be at top
–  Tighten further, if necessary, until -Top arrow- is at top.
