  Note
To avoid deterioration of the valve stem seals, slide the plastic sleeve over the valve stem (sleeve included with part).
–  Fit the new valve stem seal onto the installation tool -T20039-.
   
–  Oil valve stem seal sealing lip and slide the seal carefully all the way onto the valve guide using the installation tool -T20039-.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
–  Install the camshaft → Chapter
  Note
After installing the camshaft wait for approx. 30 minutes before starting engine. The hydraulic valve compensation elements will have to settle (otherwise, the valves could rest on the pistons).
