  Note
t  The drained coolant must be collected in a clean container, whether for disposal or recycling.
t  Observe relevant disposal regulations.
  WARNING
Steam may be released when opening the expansion tank. Wear safety goggles and appropriate clothing to avoid injury to eyes and burns. Cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully.
–  Open the Sealing plug of the coolant expansion tank.
–  Remove the soundproofing → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50.
   
–  Open the drain plug -arrow- of the radiator; fit, if necessary, an additional tube onto the sleeve.
  Note

On vehicles without a drain screw, remove the securing clamp -arrow- and disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator.

–  Also disconnect the coolant hose at bottom of the oil radiator (when fitted) -arrow-, and drain off remaining coolant.
