Camshafts: Removing and installing > < Removal:

l  Pistons must not be at TDC.
   
–  Slide the sealing ring over the guide sleeve -T10071/1-.
–  Take off guide sleeve.

–  Press the sealing ring to the stop using the guide sleeve -3265- and the screw -T10071/2-.
  Note
Place a large customary washer (M 12) under the screw to prevent wear to the pressure socket.
–  Insert the parallel key into the camshaft.

–  Fit the camshaft sprocket. To tighten the bolt, arrest the camshaft sprocket with the counterhold -3415-. Tightening torque: 100 Nm
  Note
When turning camshaft, crankshaft should not be at TDC. Danger of damage to the valves/piston base.
Further assembly is basically the reverse of the dismantling sequence.
