Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Counterhold tool -VW 558-
t  Gauge
t  Hexagon bolt M8 x 45 and two M10 hexagon nuts
Loosen and tighten the drive plate:
–  Fastenthe holder -VW 558- with the hexagonal screw M8 x 45 to the driving disk. Attach two nuts M10 between holders and driving disk.

Counter holder fitting position: -A- to loosen, -B- to tighten.

Installing the drive plate:
–  Fit the drive plate using the washer with recesses -1-.
–  Insert new bolts -3- and tighten to a torque of 30 Nm.
–  Check dimension -a- at 3 points and calculate the average.

Specification: 19.5 ... 21.1 mm
  Note
The measurement is made through the hole of the drive plate to the bored surface of the cylinder block.
If the specifications are not met:
  N13-0641
–  Remove the drive plate again and use the compensation washer -2-. Tighten the bolts again -3- to a torque of 30 Nm.
–  Tighten the bolts to a torque of 60 Nm, and then a further 90° (1/4 turn) (the retightening can be done in several stages).
