Fitting
Fitting operations are carried out in reverse order to removal operations, noting the following:
–  Breather and fuel hoses are to be installed kink-free.
–  Secure hoses with spring-type clamps.
–  Do not confuse the fuel pipes with those of the return pipe or the breather pipes.
Fitting position of earth connection: verification → Fig.
   
–  Tighten the bolts -arrows-.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm
–  Fit the rear axle: → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.42.
  Note!
Once the fuel tank is fitted, the fuel supply, return and breather lines must be verified to see if they are still correctly clipped to the fuel tank.
–  Perform the work sequence “Procedure after voltage supply open circuit” → Chapter.
