  Note
t  Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats can be still used without a reduction in useful life, as long as the cracks are no more than 0.5 mm in width.
t  After fitting the camshaft, the engine should not be started for about The hydraulic followers must be allowed to sit in to position (otherwise, the valves will hit the pistons).
t  After carrying out work on the valve control, rotate the engine gently 2 times to ensure that, before starting the engine, no valve is down.
t  Renew gaskets and seals.
t  Removing and fitting the tandem pump → Chapter.
