Note Do not tilt the ceramic glow plugs during removal and fitting. Remove the components that may hinder installation. |

| Extract the connections of the glow plugs. |

| Remove all ceramic glow plugs using spanner -U-40082-. |
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following: |

| Before fitting, clean the hole in the cylinder head and thread so that there are no fragments. |
Note Do not grease or oil the thread in the cylinder head or on the ceramic glow plugs. |

| Screw the ceramic glow plugs manually with the wrench -U-40082- in the head. |

| Then tighten the ceramic glow plugs with the torque wrench 2:25 nm -SAT 8010/1-. Tightening torque: 15 Nm |

| Following fitting and before starting the engine for the first time, always check the resistance of the ceramic glow plugs. |

| If the faulty glow plug is ruptured, remove the remains of the glow plug otherwise this could result in damage. |

| Specification: 1 Ω max. |

| If the specification is exceeded, replace the faulty ceramic glow plug. |
