Glow plugs: removing and fitting
Glow plugs: removing and fitting
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Fitting → Anchor.
t  Specified torques → Anchor.
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Measuring container -T50001-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  3/8 " reduction -SAT 1006/37-
Removing .
–  Switch ignition OFF.
–  Removing the cylinder head: vehicles with engine codes AZV, BKD → Chapter, vehicles with engine codes BMN → Chapter
–  Disconnect the electrical connections on the glow plugs.

–  Remove the glow plugs using the Glow plug tool -T50001- with the reduction 3/8 " -SAT 1006/37-.
Fitting .
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removing, when doing this note the following.
–  Fit the cylinder head: vehicles with engine codes AZV, BKD → Chapter, vehicles with engine codes BMN → Chapter
