Note The NGK Ceramic preheating glow plugs have a “white safety catch, or a silver painted safety catch” as a colour code. |
The following points should be taken into acount with ceramic glow plugs: |
Caution t
| The ceramic glow plugs are very delicate due to the special properties of its materials and must be handled with special care when mounting as well as dismounting them. |

| Transport and store only with the proper original boxing or with padded plastic individual wrapping. |
t
| Do not unpack the ceramic plugs until the moment you will use them. |
t
| The ceramic preheating glow plugs are sensitive to bumps and torsion. For this do not use glow plugs that have fallen, even from an altitude of some 2 cm, even if no damage is detected (like fine cracks). |

| Replace the ceramic preheating glow plugs when you doubt its condition. |
t
| Broken or damaged ceramic glow plugs can cause damage to the engine. |
t
| If the plug plug breaks remove from the fuel chamber all the fragments before switching the ignition on, otherwise, the engine will fail due to piston seizing. |

| The ceramic preheating glow plugs should not be dismounted for the compression test. |
