| The warning lamp flashes: There is a fault that under current driving conditions could damage the catalyst. In this case only drive at very low engine revs. |

| The warning lamp remains on: there is a fault that may affect negatively the composition of exhaust emissions. Interrogate engine control unit fault memory. |

| If vehicle driving performance is faulty or there is a customer complaint and the exhaust gas warning lamp does not light up, consult the fault memory. there may be a fault type stored in the memory with which the warning lamp does not light up instantly. |
