Full charge limit valve: verification

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Manual multimetre -V.A.G 1526-

t	Auxiliary measurement tool set -V.A.G 1594C-

–	Atmospheric diesel engines are equipped with a full charge limit valve -1- whose function is to reduce the full charge flow intensity above a certain altitude.

Verification process

–	Measure the resistance between the voltage supply and the mass using the manual multi metre -V.A.G 1526-:

Theoretical value: 8...12 Ω (at atmospheric temperature).
