| For work on the fuel supply/injection system, special care must be taken to follow the rules of cleaning: |

| Clean the connections carefully and their surroundings before releasing them. |

| Place the removed pieces on a clean surface and cover. Do not use cloths with loose ends! |

| If the repair work is not undertaken immediately, the open components must be covered or kept carefully. |
| t
| Only fit clean components: Remove the spares from their packaging just before assembly. Do not fit components that have been kept unpacked (e.g. in the toolbox, etc.). |

| When open, the system: If possible, use compressed air. If possible, do not move the vehicle. |
| t
| Furthermore, make sure no diesel fuel is spilt on the flexible pipes of the coolant. If necessary, clean the flexible pipes immediately. Flexible pipes that are affected must be replaced. |
