Use caution when performing fuel supply tasks |
Caution The fuel advance conduit is under pressure. Before disconnecting the hoses, wrap a rag around the connection point. Then reduce pressure cautiously removing the hose. |
|
When the available fuel display transmitter is disassembled or assembled (fuel transport unit) from the fuel or partially full tank, remember the following: |
t
| Before beginning the procedure, place an exhaust vacuum hose connected near the assembly opening of the fuel tank to be able to vacuum the exhaust gases produced. If an exhaust gas vacuum device is not available, a radial fan may be used (the engine should be out of the path of the air flow) with a transport capacity of over 15 m³/h. |
t
| Avoid contact between fuel and the skin. Use fuel-resistant gloves. |
