Work sequence
Work sequence
–  With ignition switched off disconnect battery earth strap.
  Note!
Check whether a coded radio is installed as during the forthcoming work sequences the battery earth strap must be disconnected. Obtain radio code first if necessary.
–  First remove main drive toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove spark plug connectors along with H.T. cables.
   
–  Pull 4 pin connector from ignition transformer -arrow-.

–  Pull 3-pin connector off Hall sender -arrow-.
–  Remove toothed belt guard rear securing bolt (in area of right-hand lifting eye).
–  Loosen camshaft housing bolts (from outside to inside and in crossover sequence) and remove.
–  Carefully lift camshaft housing off.
