Removal
Removal
(with cylinder head installed)
–  First remove main drive toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Then remove camshaft housing → Chapter.
–  Remove roller rocker arms and place onto a clean surface. Ensure that roller rocker arms are not interchanged.
–  Remove spark plugs with spark plug socket and extension -T20028-.
–  Set piston of appropriate cylinder to “bottom dead centre”.
   
–  Fit assembly device -T2034B- with pressure element -T20034B- (Ø 27 mm)
–  Screw pressure hose -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
–  Connect pressure hose to a compressed air system of at least 6 bar of compressed air and remove valve springs.

–  Pull off valve stem seals with extractor -T20058-
