| When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following “5 rules”: |

| Thoroughly clean all unions and the adjacent areas before disconnecting. |
| t
| Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface and cover them. Use lint-free cloths! |
| t
| If repair work is not immediately finished, all uncovered components must be covered and stored with the utmost care. |
| t
| Only install clean components: |
|
| Remove the new parts from their packaging immediately before fitting. |
|
| Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in tool boxes etc.). |
| t
| When the system is open: |
|
| When possible, avoid the use of compressed air. |
|
| Do not move vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
