–  Visual check of wiring
–  Check electrical connections of relevant circuit to ensure they are securely and correctly connected, and monitor display at the same time
2Status of communication with 2nd display in dash panel insert“OK”
If there is a 2nd display
“Not OK”
If there is no 2nd display then the indication “Not OK” is correct
“Not OK”
If there is a 2nd display then the indication “Not OK” is not correct, ⇒ Fault elimination
–  If the display contents do not change upon operation, rectify the fault or renew the relevant component
–  Perform a function test
–  Interrogate the fault memory again

2)  here, 'empty' means that there is nothing in the display zone
If the displayed values in all display zones are OK:
–  Terminate the function “08 - Read measured value block”.
–  Press the key at the bottom left of the tester display twice in succession.
–  Perform the “02 - Interrogate fault memory” function and rectify any faults displayed there.
–  Terminate the diagnostic functions with “06 - End output”.
