Resetting the Service interval indicator to zero > < Service needed indicator

The display reads:Service needed:
Mileage
and
service OIL		Oil change service every 15,000 km
or: 
Mileage
and
service INSP		Oil change service every 12 months or every 30,000 km

Depending on the service type done, one or both must be reset to zero, that is:
t  If “service OIL” has been done, only reset the display "service OIL.
t  If “service INSP” has been done, reset the displays “service INSP” and “service OIL”.
The Service interval indicator can be reset to zero in two ways:
or with
t  the mileometer button under the speedometer → Chapter.
t  fault reader -V.A.G. 1551- → Rep. Gr.01
