| Remove and install the instrument panel |
| The instrument panel has self-diagnosis that facilitates fault finding. |
| Thus, before removing the instrument panel, always do the following: |
| –
| Consult with fault reader -V.A.G. 1551- the fault memory → Rep. Gr.01. |
| –
| With fault reader -V.A.G. 1551- read the values of the service interval display and the state of the mileometer and note down the values → Rep. Gr.01. |
| If fault finding indicates that the instrument panel must be replaced, these values can be entered in the new instrument panel. |
