Modifications with respect to the third generation immobiliser: |

| The components from other makes of the Group can no longer be adapted to SEAT vehicles. |

| The vehicle keys are pre-programmed by the manufacturer with a basic coding. This basic coding contains a specific manufacturer's code. The keys can only be programmed for a certain vehicle if they are pre-programmed with the correct manufacturer code. |
Detection and display of faults: |
The immobiliser has a self diagnosis which aids in error location. |
For fault location, use the function „guided fault location“ of the information, measuring and fault diagnosis system -VAS 505X-. |
